Variety Hits 92.1, southern rock, and especially my kid brother, Michael-- he's a guitar genius and kind enough not to laugh when I make my sad attempts.
Movies:
I adore classics, suddenly. It may just be a phase.
Television:
True Blood, Dexter, Shark Week... Heavens to Betsy, this got off to a grisly start. I love ESPN during football and baseball seasons: I don't go in for hypothetical stats, so the off-season's a no-go. And there are a couple new series--The Borgias and Spielberg's new project, Falling Skies.
Books:
Southern lit, mostly. I'm lumping Charlaine Harris in there along with Faulkner, though, so take it with a grain of salt.
Heroes:
Gardeners and small farmers. That takes faith.
