Born and lived in Hampton, SC until 1965 when I graduated from Wade Hampton High School and then joined the local National Guard unit. Went off to basic training at Fort Jackson, SC and then school in Maryland, such a beautiful state. Came back and got married to my lovely wife, Judy which lived in Allendale, SC and until them, still live in this town. Judy and I have one daughter, Allison and she is married to Chad Gleaton and now, so proud to say I have a Grandson, Little Boyd and he is my life and joy. My most wonderful days were going to school at Wade Hampton High and proud to say, played 4 years for the Big Red and in those days, if you played for the Big Red, you truly were fortunite. I look back at all my formal players and miss all the wins we had in the four years I was allowed to play for Coach McLellon and Coach Williams. Best coaches as they not only taught us about football but also life and I will remember them the rest of my life. Hampton, SC is a wonderful town to live in and I will never forget all my memories when I lived most of my life.
