Wade Hampton opened the Class AA boys basketball playoffs on Wednesday with a huge 80-50 win over Ashley Ridge.

The Red Devils travel to Mullins on Saturday. Mullins, a No. 1 seed, opened with a 58-32 win over Hanahan on Wednesday.
