The Region 5AA Champion Wade Hampton Red Devils baseball team ended a spectactular 18-6 season with a disappointing 11-1 loss at Woodland Tuesday night in the third round of the District 5 Tournament. Woodland will now face Cheraw for a shot at the Lower State tourney.

In the second game of the series, WHHS defeated Timberland 9-8 at home on Saturday.

In game one of the tourney, the Red Devil baseball team fell 6-5 to Woodland at home on Thursday night in the first showdown of the District 5 playoff tournament.

In Patrick Henry Academy baseball playoff action, the Patriots' game against Coastal Christian in the SCISA Class A semi-finals slated for 6 p.m. has been postponed due to weather. A makeup game has not been scheduled yet.
