The Carolina Heat 12U travel baseball team took the championship in the 11th Annual Spring Kickoff tournament in Lexington, SC on February 24th. The Heat's pitching dominated. In Game 1, Kennedy Fairey pitched a no-hitter with 5 strikeouts. In Game 2, Cody Cox put 11 strikeouts in the book. In the final game, Casyn Dobson struck out 11 batters in five innings and Chase Hadwin got the save with 1 strikeout in the final inning to win the championship.
