John 3:3 says, “Jesus answered him, I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless a person is born again [reborn from above-spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified], he cannot [ever] see and experience the kingdom of God.” (AMP)
I must start off by saying "WOW" because the scriptures lets us know that it's impossible to see or experience God without being Saved. I believe that God not only wants us to spend eternity with Him after we die, but He also wants to share Himself with us as we live.
The Word of God says that you have been saved by grace through faith and not that of yourselves; it is the gift of God!! (Ephesians 2:8). No one is merited of God's Grace based on their good deeds or through the comparison of their lives to the lives of others.
We can only be born again from above through a "spiritual transformation" and not of the things of this world such as churches, religions, denominations, pastors or preachers.
God's only plan for man’s redemption is through His Son Jesus Christ!
To be saved is to be Born Again from above and this new birth must be lived as a sign of a new life. This new life is consisted of Holiness and Power! Jesus Christ gave His life as a sacrifice for our sins and if we believe in Him for what He has done, we are reconciled unto God through Him. This is the only way to God!(John 14:6)
The Bible lets us know that God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:17-18)(NKJV)
To believe in the name of Jesus Christ is to accept and take on the ways of Him as the way we now live.
When I was drawn to Jesus Christ through God, I repented of my sins; made a confession with my mouth; believed in my heart that Christ died for my sins; and God raised Him from the dead. Through this process I was saved from the condemnation of my sins.
I will continue to put much emphasis on the word "believe" because the Bible says that we must believe in Him (Jesus Christ) in order to be saved. I also believe that the greatest evidence of our salvation is proven through the works of the Holy Spirit that lives in us. In saying that, the Holy Spirit will only dwell in those that have been redeemed through the blood of Jesus Christ.
It is imperative that we apply our God given faith to what Grace has made available to us so that we can be save. After receiving salvation, we must continue to grow in our relationship with our Savior so He will also be our Lord.
This process is called denying yourself and dying to yourself!
This will be much easier said than done, because we do not like the feeling of dying from some of the pleasures that are displeasing to God. When Jesus is Lord and Savior of our lives, we will be able to cheerfully offer to others what God has given to us.
Salvation not only gives us access to heaven but it also gives heaven access to this perverse world through us!
It is God's desire that all be saved because He has no respect of person but many will refuse His free gift because of their own selfish reasons. So let’s be reminded that all of us will have to make a decision rather to believe in Jesus Christ for our eternity with God or be separated from Him because of our unbelief.
THE CHOICE IS YOURS!!!!!
