VARNVILLE - Mr. William Daniel Bilton, Jr., 52, of Biltmac Lane, Varnville, died Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Hampton Regional Medical Center.
Danny was born December 5, 1957 in Orangeburg County and was a son of William Daniel Bilton, Sr. and Betty Smith Bilton. He was a member of Estill Methodist Church. Danny was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Surviving are: his wife, Joy L. McAlhaney of Varnville; parents, William and Betty Bilton of Neeses; sons, William Daniel Bilton, III of Summerville and Andrew Jacob Bilton of Varnville; granddaughter, Jaiyden Elizabeth Bilton; sister, Shari Bilton Smith and her husband Terrell of Allendale; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Jeffery Bilton.
Funeral services were held 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Varnville-Hampton Chapel. Interment followed in Smith Cemetery.
