DENMARK - Mrs. Wardell Magdeline Marsh Staley of Carolina Hwy. in Denmark died Monday, January 25, 2010 at the Orangeburg County Regional Medical Center after an extended illness.
Born September 21, 1946 in Brunson, SC she was the daughter of the late Frank C. Marsh and Bessie Fennell Marsh. She was a Sales Clerk and a member of the Denmark Church of God of Prophecy. She will be remembered for her love of her family and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include two sons: Chris C. Staley of Denmark, SC and Anthony Staley and wife Brandi of St. Matthews, SC, one brother: John F. Marsh of Augusta, GA and one sister: Edna M. Smith of Brunson, SC, there are five grandchildren: Joseph, Matthew, Kearston, Tyler and Emma Staley. She was predeceased by one brother: James E. Marsh and one sister: Audrey M. Huff.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 27th at 2 P.M. in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral with burial in the Hampton Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in her memory to the Denmark Church of God of Prophecy, 324 Coker St., Denmark, SC 29042.
