Raymond Maurice Forget

SUMMERVILLE - Raymond Maurice Forget, 67, husband of Janice Bozard Forget, died June 25, 2009 after an extended illness.
Mr. Forget was born on July 14, 1941 in Attleboro, Massachusetts, a son of Jean-Paul and Louise Forget. He was raised in Woonsocket, RI. He attended Mount Saint Charles Academy and was a graduate of Charleston Southern University. He was a retired high hool teacher with Dorchester County hool District II. He was also a Navy veteran. He loved farming, fishing, sports and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan as well as a Florida State fan.
Surviving are: His wife of 42 years, Janice Bozard Forget of Summerville; three daughters, Jenny Kerr (George) and Michelle Tate Dangerfield (Charles) of Moncks Corner, and Lisa Turner (Rick) of Slidell, LA. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one godchild, Charlene Piccard of Rhode Island. Mr. Forget was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Maurice, a son, Jeff Cornett, and his faithful pet Gizmo.
Mr. Forget in his last days of illness was attended by Odyssey Hospice (our Guardian Angel).
Funeral services were held Monday, June 29, 2009 at Faith Baptist Church at 10 o'clock. Burial was in Hickory Grove Cemetery in Brunson.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
