Lucille Hiers DeLoach
VARNVILLE- Mrs. Lucille Hiers DeLoach, 70, of Two Sisters Ferry Road, entered into eternal rest Friday, January 22, 2010 at The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.
Mrs. DeLoach was born February 11, 1939 in Bamberg County and was a daughter of the late Hansford Hiers and Bertha Connelly Hiers. She was the widow of Cape DeLoach, Jr. and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.
Surviving are: her children, Joseph William DeLoach and his wife Renee of Varnville and Henry B. DeLoach and his fiance, Susan Griffin of Holly Hill; brother, Paul Layton Hiers, Sr. and his wife Virginia of Varnville; and grandson, C.J. Sauls of Varnville. She was preceded in death by two infant sons; sister, Jane Rebecca Hiers Still; half sisters, Elouise Folk, Carnell Morris and Cora Mae Carroll; and half brothers, Cecil D. Hiers and W. H. Hiers.
Funeral services were held 11 a.m., Monday, January 25, 2010 at Hopewell Baptist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
