Janice Elizabeth Hamilton
BEAUFORT - Janice Elizabeth Hamilton, 50, daughter of the late Beatrice Fennell Hamilton and Freddie Hamilton, formerly of Lobeco, SC, died Friday, June 19th at her residence.
Born November 18, 1958 in Beaufort, SC, she was a graduate of the Battery Creek High School, Class of 1976 and the Technical College of the Lowcountry. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnnesses. Her employment history includes: Environmental Inc., Beaufort, SC, and the US Postal Service at Early Branch, Seabrook, and Yemassee, SC.
Surviving are: One brother, Floyd K. Hamilton (Faith), Charlotte, NC; Six aunts, Viola Rivers and Hythenia Hamilton, Yemassee, SC, Juanita Robinson, Stratford, CT, Josephine Smalls, Killeen, TX, Ernestine Jones, Ridgeland, SC, and Alice Hamilton, Long Island, NY; three uncles, Jacob Shaw and Isaac (Virginia) Shaw, Bridgeport, CT, and William (Meta) Shaw, Early Branch, SC, three grand aunts, two grand uncles, nine cousins. She is also survived by two step sisters, Viola Heyward, Ridgeland, SC, and Cjeryl Doctor, Southern Pines, NC, and a host of other relatives.
Memorial services were held on Tuesday, June 23, 1:00 pm in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Point South, SC.
Young Funeral Home of Yemassee was in charge of the arrangements.
