Jamacia Ja’Var Harley

ESTILL - Jamacia Ja'Var Harley was born April 3, 1998 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital. After a four year battle with osteosarcoma, he was called home on March 8, 2010 at 12:19 pm.
He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and joined Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Early Branch, SC and then later joined Good Hope Baptist Church of Estill. He was a 5th grade homebound student at Estill Elementary School in Estill.
His maternal grandfather, Deacon Harry Beckett, preceded him in home going.
Surviving are: His devoted and loving father and mother, Christopher and Angie Lee Beckett-Harley; One brother, Christopher Jermaine Harley; His maternal grandmother, Rose Marie Rivers-Beckett of Estill; His paternal grandparents, Luther and Merdyth Harley of Early Branch; His godmother and maternal aunt, Tonya R. Beckett of Estill; His godfather, Troy M. Johnson of Milledgeville, GA; Six maternal aunts: Daisy Amir of Hayward, CA; Doreen Beckett of Branchville; Queenia Mae and Sally Mae Roberts of Estill; Cecelia Morrell of Rincon, GA; and Gloria Holmes-Bryant of Columbia; Six maternal uncles, Ishmell Amir of Hayward, CA; Levon Morrell of Rincon, GA; Harry Lamar Beckett of Huntingdon, PA; Jesse Scott of St. Helena Island; Scott Bryant of Raleigh, NC; and Garry Beckett of Estill; and One paternal aunt, Cleopatra Harley-Scott of Early Branch, and a host of cousins and grand aunts and uncles.
Funeral services were held 11 am, Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Hampton County School District 2 Auditorium, 319 Fourth Street East, Estill. Interment followed in Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Varnville-Hampton Chapel, was in charge of the arrangements.
