Eunice Williams

EARLY BRANCH - Eunice Williams, 84, died Monday, November 7, 2011 at the Allendale County Hospital in Fairfax.
Mrs. Williams was born to the late Mr. Joe Hicks and Mrs. Corrie Boles Hicks on October 20, 1927 in Early Branch, Hampton County.
In need of divine guidance and in the quest for salvation, she at an early age became a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, Early Branch.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Earl Williams. This union was blessed with seven children. Her husband and two children have preceded her in death. Sister Eunice Williams, for many years, was employed by the former Wood Stock Factory of Yemassee, South Carolina. Throughout her life, Sister Eunice Williams was a faithful and devoted worker in the church. She took part on the Charity Board and was the secretary of the B. T. Union. She was a hard worker all around. For many years, she baked cakes and pies to raise money to "Feed the Children". Her devotion to children led her to take in foster children, rearing them for many years.
To cherish loving memories are Five Children: Mr. Earl Williams, Jr., Andrews, South Carolina, Mrs. Frankie L. Brown, Boston Massachusetts, Mr. Sherbert Williams, Homestead, Florida, Mr. Ronald Williams, Early Branch, South Carolina and Mrs. Geraldean Odoms, Fairfax, South Carolina; One Sister, Mrs. Priscilla Mae Grant, Early Branch, South Carolina; One Brother, Mr. James Hicks, Savannah, Georgia; One Son-in-law, Mr. Jake Brown, Boston, Massachusetts; One Daughter-in-law, Mrs. Vinett Williams, Homestead, Florida; Two Sisters-in-law: Mrs. Fannie Mae Hicks, Savannah, Georgia and Mrs. Lizzie Hicks, Boston, Massachusetts; Fourteen Grandchildren; Fifteen Great Grandchildren; A host of other Relatives and Friends.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13 at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Early Branch.
Washington's Funeral Home of Hampton was in charge of the arrangements.
