CROCKETVILLE - Mr. Eddie Vincent Tuten died Saturday, February 20, 2010 at his residence.
Mr. Tuten was born December 27, 1978 in Hampton County to Mr. Eddie Murray "Ray" Tuten and Mrs. Judy Ann Mitchum. He was educated in the Greenwood County Public Schools of Greenwood, South Carolina.
He was a member of Pine Level Baptist Church, Grays.
Surviving are: one daughter, Kaitlyn Cierra Tuten of Liberty; one son, Skylar Dettrick of Varnville; His father and step-mother, Mr. Eddie Murray "Ray" Tuten and Mrs. Ida Tuten of Florence; His mother and step-father, Mrs. Judy Ann Mitchum and Mr. Bob Mitchum of Grays; (1) Sister, Ms. Ann Michelle Tuten of Varnville; (1) Half-brother, Mr. Kenneth Murray Tuten of Florence; (2) Step-brothers, Mr. Kenneth Reid, Jr. of Florence; Bobby Mitchum of Virginia; (3) Step-sisters: Ms. Carol Talbert of Florence; Ms. Ruth Ann Reid of Atlanta, Georgia; Crystal Therrell of Rock Hill; His grandparents, Mr. Vincent and Mrs. Dorothy Dean of Grays; Several nieces, nephews, and other caring friends.
Memorial services will be held Friday, February 26, 2010, 6:00 p.m. at Washington's Funeral Home Chapel in Hampton.
