According to Hampton County Coroner Gordon Rhoden, Sandra Ward Dyches, 51, of Estill was killed in a wreck at Pondtown and Prince Williamd roads just outside Hampton on Tuesday.

Her father, Franklin Ward, 75, of Sandy Run Road, was flown out by helicopter.

A call went out around 3:26 p.m. Tuesday about a two-vehicle wreck with an overturned vehicle and entrapment. Fire and rescue workers were on the scene, as was Rhoden.
