HCSO starts Home Alone program Monday

The Hampton County Sheriff's Office will be offering the HOME ALONE program for at-risk citizens of Hampton County. The purpose of the HOME ALONE program is to provide an additional sense of security and minimize the fear of living alone for seniors, disabled or homebound adults and other at risk citizens.
"Many of our elderly, disabled and homebound citizens have voiced their concerns about the fear of living alone. This program is designed to ease those fears and to help these folks feel safer in their homes knowing that they will have regular contact with a law enforcement agency on a daily basis. It is an added sense of security that they need, but most of all, deserve".
Participation in this program through the Hampton County Sheriff's Office will provide citizens with the advantage of having daily contact with a law enforcement agency. Program Participation Forms and details of the program may be obtained at the Hampton County Sheriff's Office located at 411 Cemetery Rd. in Varnville, S.C. beginning May 2 thru May 20 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
