Car vs. moped crash

Hampton County EMS and the Varnville Fire Department responded to a report of a car striking a moped at the Varnville Post Office around 6:18 p.m. Tuesday.

According to reports from the scene, a patient was suffering from leg and shoulder injuries and chest pain after being struck by a vehicle traveling about 10-15 miles per hour and was transported to Hampton Regional for evaluation.
