Dr. Seuss honored with library birthday party

The Hampton County Library and Hampton County First Steps honored Dr. Seuss with a birthday party on Saturday, March 11, at the Hampton County Library. Children and their parents came out for a few hours to enjoy games, contests and story time with Dr. Seuss as the featured reader. The event ended with birthday cake and ice cream. The organizers would like to thank Donna  Brunson and her staff at the Hampton Piggly Wiggly for the birthday cake donation and Food Lion for the $25 gift certificate that was used to buy ice cream.
