Arnold Fields awards Sat. at NDMS
The annual Arnold Fields Community Endowment community service awards banquet will honor several deserving individuals.
The Arnold Fields Community Endowment is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2017 Community Service Awards. These awards recognize individuals whose works and services have made a positive impact on the lives of people within the Greater Hampton County region.
The Community Service Awards Dinner will be held on Saturday, March 11, at North District Middle School located on 611 Tillman Avenue in Varnville. Doors will open at 5 p.m., with the program starting at 6 p.m. The event is open to the public at no charge.
The following individuals will be recognized and honored during the Endowment’s Awards Dinner Program: Theodore V. Murdaugh, Sr. of Hampton, recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award; Charlie I. Crews of Scotia, recipient of the Unsung Hero Award; Roy Hughes of Yemassee, recipient of the Arts and Culture Award; Olin Morris of Varnville, recipient of the Inspirational Gospel Music Award; Lee Smith (Lee’s Furniture Store) of Hampton, recipients of the Friends of Hampton County Award; and George Kenneth Youmans of Nixville, recipient of the Hampton County Public Safety Award.
