While folks both in Los Angeles and in Yemassee are sworn to secrecy until producers make the official announcement, the Town of Yemassee has apparently been chosen as the star of a new reality show on television, "The Week the Women Went," in which men in a small town must learn to survive, take care of their families, and change their traditional roles when their ladies disappear for a week.

Filming is still underway in Yemassee and in Hampton, and the show is expected to begin airing in January. But I don't want to give away too much just yet, so you can read more in Thursday's Guardian.
