Previous blogs have blamed school districts for all the budget cuts that are changing the schools in Hampton County. We cannot blame school districts when their funds are reduced by the state. We cannot blame the state because state funds have been reduced by the “feds.” Place the blame where it belongs, in Washington. Our congressman and the present administration are the ones to blame. Education should be the first priority. The children of today are the leaders of tomorrow. If you want to do something, contact those who represent us in Washington. Let them know they should be voting on issues that are good for those they represent in their home district. Remember this is election year...Hazel
