What do you think about the bin Laden announcement?

What are your thoughts on the announcement that U.S. military forces have killed Osama bin Laden? And should we fear another attack on U.S. soil in retaliation?
Leave your thoughts and opinions here, or send an encouraging message to someone you know from Hampton County who is serving with the U.S. military in the War on Terror, by commenting on this blog.

Osama Bin Laden
I am so proud to be an American! Even though it took a long time to get to this point, thank goodness Laden can't hurt anyone else. Much appreciation goes to the CIA and Military for working together to perform such a dangerous mission. Also, I appreciate the respect that was shown to follow such strange beliefs in the preparation of burial traditions. I don't think this will be the end but some new beginnings ... others will try to surface as leaders, terrorists will still be training and our lesson will be ... don't give up, be persistent, departments constantly working together sharing information ... do whatever it takes to keep our nation safe.
May God bless America! Marcia
First off I'm glad he's
First off I'm glad he's dead. I am a little dissapointed that it took a week to inform the world though... when they captured Saddam it was broadcast within hours, but I understand they did DNA testing and that takes time.
Secondly, a news report I read earlier today says: "He was buried within 24 hours of his death to be sensitive to the Islamic community of the world and respect their religious practices. However he was buried at sea since no country would take the body for burial."
Personally I hope this translates to "We have him in custody and are currently letting EVERY intelligence agency and independant torture contractor we can think of work him over pretty rough to find out as much as we can."
With that said I know that our military still has a lot of work to do but hopefully we can bring them home to their families soon.

Osama Bin Laden
It is absolutely amazing that President Obama and his team, with today's technology, were able to watch in real time the Navy Seals taking out Osama. As other late breaking news is reported I think we will all be surprised in the details. May God bless America! Marcia

IF he is dead, GREAT! Just not believing he is, though...
