The Hampton County Recreation Department is now offering a ZUMBA Dance Class. Zumba is areobics to a latin beat. Class will begin October 4th, Tuesday and Thursday, 6-7 pm, $35 a month. The Hampton County Wrestling Club has begun at the Hampton County Recreation Department. Boys and girls ages 4-14 are eligible to join. Coach Packy Burke is a young and energetic coach from Walterboro and is still competing in this sport. Coach Packy said "wrestling is a great way for football and baseball players to stay in shape". The HC Wrestling club meets on Wednesday nights each week, with a monthly fee of $40. Registration continues for HCRD Gymnastics. Gymnastics is girls or boys ages 3-12. Fifteen students will be required to hold a class. Invite friends to join. For more infomation please call 803-943-2857.

Registration for Fall Baseball begins Monday, September 26- Thursday October 13th.
Signup will be held @ the Hampton County Recreation Department.

7-8 year olds (Coach Pitch)
9-10 year old (Minors)
11-12 year old (Majors)
Sign up anytime during the following hours to register.
Monday 8am-5pm
Tuesday  8am-9pm
Wednesday 8am-5pm
Thursday 8am-9pm
Registration Fee is $40 per child, $5 discount per additional child.
A birth certificiate copy will be needed to register.

Girl Scout Recruitment for new members and to re-register last years members is being held Monday, September 19th, Fennell Elem. School at 6pm. A second registration will be held at HCRD on September 19th. at 6pm. Membership fee is $12. Parents will be needed to complete registration forms. Invite a friend to join with you, dont' forget to bring her parent also.

The Hampton County Recration Department Wrestling Club will meet with Coach Packy tonight,Wednesday @ 5:30pm. New members are welcome. Visit each Summer Camp instructor to receive a pass for the Jumping Castles in the park.

Summer Camps:

Acrylic Art, Gymnastic, Basketball, Karate, Wrestling, Dance, & Volleyball.

Register Early for the Camps of your choice. 

The HCRD Basketball Sign up has begun. Early registration fee is $35, after November it will be $45. If your child plans to play basketball please sign them up early. Practice starts the 1st week of October, games will begin in January. If they are playing other sports and not available to practice in October, sign them up early to reserve a place on the team. Please provide a copy of their Birth Certificate and t-Shirt size when registering. You do not have to provide BC if child has played HCRD Basketball before.
