CBH I see you have comments on this website alot. You suggest people use their real names and you never do. You seem to only be worried about people using their real names when a negative comment is left. That is true Hampton county style.

When I first started posting

When I first started posting on this site my name, address, phone number all were on here. I finally took that info off of here after trying to respectfully give someone some correct info after they posted something that was wrong. The next day, on this site, I was threatened by that person that my house may be burned down. Since then I have (politely) offered my email address and cell phone number to several people that have posted on here if they wanted to continue a conversation that was taking place on this site more privately. I do not slander or abuse other people on this site, that is another reason why I have not offered my name on here again. I have no problem with negative comments as long as they are not abusive and incorrect about others who may not be able to defend themselves. I guess if someone is perfect and has never made a mistake in their life then yes, they should be allowed to trash anyone they want (note the sarcasm) anytime they want. If they aren't perfect then I suggest they treat others with the same respect they would want to be treated with.  HERE ENDTH THE LESSON!!! AGAIN!!!

After what you posted, Chris, I certainly can understand the reluctance for anyone to publish any personal information about themselves on this board.  It really sickens me, and scares me too, to think we cannot give an opinion for fear someone will want to do something violent to us.  This board is an excellent forum to share ideas, concerns and opinions. All of us should be able to do so in a thougthful and respectful way.  Unfortunately, some people think their opinon is the only one that counts and that no one should be able to offer a countering view.  It is a pretty sad day for America that there are people who believe the Constitution applies to only them.  When you resort to name calling, threats and slander it is a reflection on the kind of person you really are and it is not a pretty picture.
